Amy Tan Biography

Amy Tan is a chinese-american novelist (Age 65) who wrote the New York Times best-selling The Joy Luck Club. Amy Tan was born on 1952, Feb 19 in Oakland after her parent immigrated from China, her older brother and father died from brain tumor in 1966, she then moved to Europe with her mother and younger brother where she attended high school in Montreux, Switzerland, and later on moved back to America to attend Linfield College in Oregon. Amy Tan is met Lou DeMattei on a blind date and later on got married together, today she lives in San Francisco, California.
