What Did We Learn This Semester.....

In this semester with my new classmates, I learned a lot. We read books together, and been through all kinds of situations, we never had a time when we hated each other but most we get to know about each other a lot and have fun times. During in Ms.Bevas class, we learned the class as a team and a whole not as a indiviudual. When we read namesake, Ms. Bevas let us make a special food from India in groups, so we can be use to work together and be into the Indian tradition.Learning other countries tradition is a new thing,and it is very fun because it is different than our own traditions.

We also learned making annotations.What is a right way to make annotations and why do we need to make annotations.Making annotations and learning about them makes us to grab more attention in the story that we read.While learning annotations, we read “Shooting an Elephant” by George Orwell, and I found out that the first time I read through the story I hardly can get what is it talking about because there is a lot of vocabulary words.So Ms. Bevas told us to try and make annotations on the story,and it was a lot easier to understand,because you can define the vocabulary and u also can take notes of the important scenes in the story. As a result, everything we learn in this semester makes our class and me, easier to understand something we learn and also going through new experiences that can help me in my future.
