Seung Mock You response

There are a lot of countries in the world, which means that different cultures exist among the countries. Especially in America, a huge diversity of culture exist due to a lot of immigrants from other countries either long time ago or now a days. However, since a lot of cultures are sharing around the world, some of the conflicts could be created.

Culture tradition could change decisions that people makes such as names, just like the story Namesake, food, how some religions worship their god, and bunch of other different culture. For food, in some country, it is not a good manner to finish all the food that they give you because that means that they did not have enough in that culture. However, in some countries, it is not good manner to have left over. Therefore, everyone around the world should know how to respect other cultures.

Anna Qian response

Because people are made differently, and people have different cultures. Every people in different countries have their own traditions, and their making oneself traditions might be new and different to the people that don't understand your culture.

For example, in China. Chinese people believed pointing at someone is rude, but in America it is normal. And when a Chinese person goes to America, he or she have to decide whether it is or isn't appropriate to point at someone.

In the story “ Namesake”, a Indian couple lives in a America, and they faced the difficulties whether they should follow their traditions.the couples,Ashoke and Ashima think that the baby should stay in the hospital because the baby don't have a name. And Mr.Wilox which is the doctor have have a different perspective.

This story told be that people have different traditions, that they have to follow. So we should stand in others perspective and try not to judge.
