Dear. Problem solver

I am a docter in Minnesota hospital. One of my cancel patient accidentally died while we were doing surgery on her. However, we told her husband and families except her child, who was only 7 years old. It would be very hard for 7 year old boy taking his mom's death but I would have to explain it to him anyways. How could I tell him so he won't get too sad?

Response- you could tell him that his mom has a sickness that can't be fixed in Minnesota so she went to better hospital in other place. Tell him like this for now, and later on he will eventually know and would be okay.
